D. Coordinator’s Report

Motion made by Ann Tramontana to accept the Coordinator’s Report; seconded by Mary Blair; approved unanimously.

Coordinator’s Reports for CY2006 and 2007 distributed.

OIC of IV&E, Lieutenant Peterson, detailed the status of the open cases for 2006 and provided updates on 2007 cases (please note that the report will be provided in future meetings during Executive Session.).

Discussion initiated by Ann Tramontana re need for CRB statistics based on inquiries she has received.


E. Open Floor

Lieutenant Peterson announced the format for upcoming forum for citizen complaint scheduled for June 18, 2007 at 6:00 p.m., Hillhouse High School and July 5, 2007 at 6:00 p.m., at Fair Haven Middle School.

There were no guests present.

F. Unfinished Business

The discussion regarding the need for statistics initiated by Ann Tramontana continued to be discussed as unfinished business. The need for statistics on CRB activity were stressed.

G. Subcommittee Reports

Evelise Ribeiro outlined the PERF forums. The next BOPC meeting is scheduled for June 26, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

No other reports were made.


H. New Business

Handouts given regarding details for Case Review and Criteria for Auditing Complaints. Case Review Panel forms were distributed to be used for all reviews of cases.
